New Website

Post by backyard brewer »

Well I finally put up a website for my stir plate business. eBay takes my head off on every plate I sell so I thought I'd hopefully get some sales diverted there. Anyway, I'd like to hear what you guys think of the site and what you think I could improve. I thought of adding a very small forum specific to yeast culturing and farming but I'm not sure it'd get much attention. Maybe more specific instructions on starters. I don't know what do you think?

Also, I noticed you are running an adwords campaign for the site. Let me know if you want a hand with PPC or SEO at all. It's what I do at work, and you can never get enough traffic.

I should have the material tomorrow. As long as they weld like I expect them to then the price for a plain 3/8" OD thermowell for use in a stopper will be:

length price
6 $7.86
8 $9.64
10 $11.41
12 $13.19
14 $14.96
16 $16.74
18 $18.51

The nice thing is they'll be welded and polished instead of crimped and soldered or welded. I have a couple commercial ones and I'm always scrubbing the kreusen off the un-polished weld because of the way it's folded and welded. These will have a plug welded in the end just like the probe ends. At least..... that's the plan.

If there seems to be insterest and I can reasonably weld them I may make them with threaded adpaters and such.

Fine Job Derrin ... how much do you have to sell to support your "obsession"?

Well fortunately I still have a day job and I enjoy making them, otherwise it would suck.
