This has been a great thread with lots of information. I'm brewing the same batch tomorrow and we'll see how it goes.

My sparge water was 168. It sounds like the lack of stirring was what led to my low efficiency. Everything else was spot on.

Chris Blohm and I brewed a Brown ale this weekend. It was my first try at batch sparging.
