Picked mine up yesterday ... simple ... and they're real nice (both the Brewer's hardware folks AND the growlers)!

I don't think you have to worry about "bothering" the good people at Brewer's Hardware ... and you should go and have a look see at all of their products so you can plan your next brewery upgrade! They have pretty standard weekday business hours. It wouldn't hurt to call first and give 'em...

That's a great point (liquid loss) ... I wasn't going to weight it down to the bottom .. but rather suspend mid keg ... been so busy with high school projects I haven't started yet ... tomorrow for sure.

Bringing this thread back to life briefly ... rereading it was informative for what I'm doing. Most of you know that I rarely brew hoppy beers as I prefer the more malt forward varieties. That said, I was coerced into brewing a hoppy amber ale last week and I want to "kick it up a notch" w...

I use one of the old Extract Malt containers I had from Morebeer ... put a thermowell into the top and viola! It is about the same diameter as a keg which is why I chose it. I've used 1 degree since I built it nearly 10 years ago.
