Buddy is selling his brew gear. Looking for feedack on price

Here's the link, he is in HB.

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/hsh/5303871029.html

The price seems reasonable to me but it has been many years since I've bought a start-from-scratch setup.

Re: www.HopRage.com

Made some changes based on your feedback. Much appreciated. Sold some to "The Homebrewer" home brew shop in San Diego. Will reach out to other homebrew shops as well. Thanks again!

Re: IPA vs. IPL Experiment

My 0.2 . I'd go BIG with something in the 1.075ish range with ~ 90 IBU's Hit it with 30 IBU's at 90. I'd use one of your C-hops or Hop Extract ~ 15-17 IBU's at 45. Also with a C hop or Extract ~ 43 IBU's at 30 with your citra I'd then hit it with a 10 - 12 ounce hit of Amarillo at whirlpool/flameout...

Did he say why they were closing? I'm glad we have Windsor now or there would be slim pickings for local shops.

Re: Addison Hombrew Clearence Sale

This is sad. I work with Eric Addison's wife and met Eric through her at a party a few months before he opened the shop. He was the person who got me into homebrewing. I know Eric and his wife moved to Texas. Does anyone know, did he sell the shop to someone else or is he still the owner?

Sanity check on a Pumpkin Ale

Yes, I know. Not another pumpkin Ale. My family and friends are asking for it. Was wondering if ya'll could provide any feedback on this recipe? I've made it once long ago back when I was making 5 gallon batches. I roasted the pumpkins and scooped the flesh into the mash. No way I'm doing that again...
