Good question.
I counted 14 brews and 12 brew dates.
One a month average.
Tried a variety of styles too.
Dubble Bock, Pale Ale, Cream Ale, Porter, Hef,
Stout, Winter Ale, Blonde, Biere de Garde, IPA,
Steam Beer, Nut Brown Hemp Ale
2010 was a good beer year.
2011 will be even better!

Cismontane Brewing Co.
Cismontane Brewery was great. http://www.cismontanebrewing.com/ Spent some time at the tasting room bar. All the beers were excellent. Toured the brewery. The equipment is awesome. The brewery floor plan layout makes the most use of their available space. Thanks Evan and Ross! Evan Cismontane(1).JPG

Fermenting Bucket Filler Attachment
I needed a way to avoid exposure of the cooled wort going into the fermenting bucket.
Here are some photos of what I came up with.

Re: 10" low pressure burners
I realized I didn't let anyone here know, but I've got 10" low pressure burners in stock along with both LPG & NG orifice valves. These are designed for 11" WC pressure, so if you run LPG, you'd need a reg for 11" WC (which I also have) http://www.brewershardware.com/images/P/BUR...

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
We had family and friends over for dinner and homebrew. We started with an American Hefeweizen and some Blonde Ale. Mealtime included an English Pale Ale, Steam Beer and IPA. After dinner was the Old Man Winter, Biere de Garde and Honey Stout. Everyone had fun tasting the different styles and discov...

The Nut Brown Hemp Ale was brewed over the weekend.
A new video on YouTube shows how it was done

Re: Anyone Interested in a Brutus Stand?
Wow, that is a great looking rig.
It looks like a lot of time and work went into it.
I hope to see it in action some day.

Hemp seeds
I'm getting ready to brew an American Brown Hemp Ale. I'm searching for the best way to add the Hemp seed. I have some crushed Hemp seeds (protein powder) that I could add on top of the mash or I could add the powder to the boil. Or maybe it would be best to buy whole Hemp seeds, crush them and add ...

There are so many new innovations in the Home Brewing world.
Has anyone ever heard of a Home Brewer's Expo?
If so, please post it.

BYO is always looking for new articles.
I think they would like the story and photos of the Sedona hops.

Re: Brew Your Own magazine November issue
Don that does not look like any of your systems that I've seen. is it your personal system? Brewstove 1.0 or Brewstove 3.0? That was the first system I built. The magazine edited out the part where I scrapped this one and started over. It's being used now, for parts. (Maybe I should have checked wi...

Brew Your Own magazine November issue
Just received the November issue in the mail. Page 10 features the original BrewStove by BackHouseBrew. The article was cut and edited quite a bit from what I gave them. They even cut out the reference to the brewcommune club where I thank the members for all their input and advice. So I'll say it a...
