This is sad. I work with Eric Addison's wife and met Eric through her at a party a few months before he opened the shop. He was the person who got me into homebrewing. I know Eric and his wife moved to Texas. Does anyone know, did he sell the shop to someone else or is he still the owner?

Yeah, I was pretty bummed when I found out. I too bought my first brewing kit from AHP. Eric is still the owner. I stopped by there today to pick up some yeast and Eric was back behind the counter.

Did he say why they were closing? I'm glad we have Windsor now or there would be slim pickings for local shops.

This is a bummer. I bought my first homebrew kit from AHP as well. I'll have to go check it out and see what they have left.

I didn't talk to him for long, but I got the sense he was looking to start something new in Texas.
He did mention that they'd be getting together Saturday evening.
