OC Fest of Ales

Post by bwarbiany »

Looks relatively small, unknown, and isn't listed on the BJCP site. So we all might win something!

Very interesting... has anyone every been to this event?

Just curious, as they don't seem to have much info on the website .. i.e. which breweries are going to be there, etc.

Sounds interesting. No mention of how the judging is done.

I have a wedding to attend on Sept. 22, otherwise I would enter a couple beers.

I think BrianB and I are going to enter a couple of ours as well. Never competed before and this looks like a one to try.

I am putting in 3 beers into this one. Deadline to register is September 1st. Also, ticket prices look like they go up tommorrow, so If you are planning to go, buy them today!

The site is still a bit confusing, but check it out for more details. See you all there!

I entered a couple of beers and the 5K. I'm not much of a runner, and I'm in much better beer drinking shape than running shape, so beer tasting after running should be interesting.
I have not yet begun to defile myself.

The organizers at the OC Fest of Ales in Anaheim wrote: It appears we have some inconsistencies with entries being accepted at O'Shea.

At this point I would recommend dropping off your beer at the Downtown Anaheim Association Offices - 205 W Center Street Promenade, Anaheim, CA 92805.
So, if you were planning on dropping of your entries tomorrow (Wednesday), this is on the only location open for drop-offs. (Addison's is closed on Wednesday).

Good luck!
