Ok, I totally spaced on getting my beer to the drop off and we are headed out of town very early in the morning.

Is anyone that wouldn't mind taking my beer going to one of the drop off locations tomorrow?

Well that depends. You're not entering the same categories I am, are you

If you're headed south, you can drop them off with me in Laguna Niguel and I'll take them over to O'Shea's today.

I entered my Red in American Amber, my sage/macadamia nut mead in traditional sweet mead, my neighbor beer in both blonde and kolsh.

I entered 2 beers in two different categories each, it's a reach but I figured what the heck.
American Amber Ale / American IPA
Robust Porter / Sweet Stout
I know......It will be interesting to see these sheets.

As a judge, I often run into beers that are excellent but that are entered into the wrong category. Hopefully, you will get some good judges so that you can get some good feedback even if you don't score well in the category.

I did not enter any beers in OC Fair. I am bottling tonight for the final round of NHC and for the Inland Empire Brewery ProAm Competition.

Well it looks like we've got category 10 covered... I entered American Pale (10A) and Belgian Specialty (16E).

Looks like we've got in category 10:
10B - Jward
10B - BARL
10A - backhousebrew
10A - Myself

Interestingly, it looks like 3 of the 4 are questionable on the style, John with his American Red, BARL with a beer that's probably hopped high for 10B, and me with my APA with 20% rye malt...

Brian, what is this beer "intended" to be? I'm a big fan of the sweet stout category myself, so if you're actually brewing to style, we'll need to compare notes.

This is a hopped edition of the Red so it may do OK.
