Silver solder and stainless steel

I have heard that you can use silver solder to some small things on stainless steel. I think Lars had mentioned he was going to try it. I want to solder some tabs to my converted keg lids to hold them in place and was wondering if anyone has tried this technique.

I havn't done it yet, but the secret to the whole thing is the flux. There was a long thread on the B3 forum from someone who had done it. It came out very very nice. He lists the specific typoe and brand of flux to use.

I haven't tried it yet. But I did find out that Praxiar carries the Harris products
