SmartStrip thermometric keg level + temp meter

Has anyone heard of this for kegs?

For $2 it seems worthwhile.
Beverage Factory's selling it for $3.50.
If I had kegs of beer I'd sure like this buddy to tell me when that keg's going empty without lifting it. (Eh Brad? for comp. beers?? Cheap insurance if it works)

Too bad it needs to be activated with hot water every time you take a reading. That seems like a pain in the ass. Otherwise that thing looks pretty sweet. I have one like it for my propane tank and it works fine.
