cocoa nibs

Postby jward on Fri Jun 07, 2013 4:48 pm

I will brewing oatmeal stout, the recipe in the John/Jamil Styles book. I have been thinking of splitting into separate 5 gallon batches to hit one with cocoa nibs and maybe vanilla beans.

Have you used cocoa nibs? Any suggestions of how to do so properly and how much to use?

FWIW, I ended up using 3 oz of cocoa nibs and 2 vanilla beans.
