weissbier

Post by dksucharda »

I got a recipe off beer recipator for a weissbier. It is a partial mash recipe and calls for 2 lbs of german pilsner grain. I cant find it at my local brew store which to be honest is more of a wine store than a brew store. so the guy working there often isn't much help. Also I have looked in northern brewer sales catalog and williams brewing and cant find it anywhere. I did find a dingeman's pilsner in northern brewer, would this do the trick? If not, could someone please give me a common replacement. What I would really like is a chart that cross references other grain options if the one I need is not available.
Thanks

You should be fine with any light colored pilsner malt, like this: Zymurguy's Pilsner Malt.
