3/15/11 Club Meeting 7PM @ Out Of The Park Pizza (Anaheim)

Our annual March meeting is upon us! Fermenters have been bubbling furiuosly over the past few weeks, and it's time to gather and share some homebrew!

NEW LOCATION
Please join us on Tuesday, March 15th, 2011 @ 7pm at Out of the Park Pizza in Anaheim. Dan, the proprieter, is a fellow homebrewer and very cool guy. Check out the amazing list of local & hard-to-find taps! (He just tapped Three Philosophers, and I hope it lasts until the 15th!)

Dan has offered us his posh outdoor patio, which is plenty big, and also has gas heaters & outdoor TV's. The food here is excellent and very affordable! (Loved the BLT!)

Please bring your homebrew, mead & ciders to pass around & talk about. Posting your brew's recipe in the club database is a great way for everyone to remember your creation, and match ingredients & techniques to real-world tastings. This is also a great place to ask questions, and solicit advice about your beer.

We also plan to talk about the upcoming Southern California Homebrew Festival & other future events.

I'll be there, but unfortunately no brews in hand. I have nearly 60 gallons kegged right now but since I'm coming straight from work in Torrance, I won't be heading home to get any.

Had a great time. I saw a couple of welcome familiar faces and met a lot of fellow brewers. Pardon me but it'll take a few meetings to learn names, it doesn't work to learn 30 names within 20 minutes. Oskaar passed around a mead that had aged 8 years. First mead I've ever tasted, and it piqued my interest. A lot going on in that beverage. Too much beer and too much fun, I'm feeling it now. I'm gonna have to learn some self control.

I've never had any other mead to compare it to. But hot and bold and wonderful.
