JonGoku's stash for sale

Post by JonGoku »

Hi guys, as mentioned in another thread I have decided to officialize my brewing hiatus and to sell my equipment. Hopefully someday when I have more time on my hands and fewer kid(s) underfoot I will once again take up the hobby.

I have not been active for the past year, so I’m rusty on the pricing and haven’t had a lot of time to check to see what things are going for. I could be overpricing some of the times on the list or underpricing others. Actually the pricing I put on there was basically for me to estimate the max return I could expect, and is probably a quite a few hundred less than I actually put into it. Being realistic I doubt I’ll get the max so please do not hesitate to make me a reasonable offer or to tell me my pricing for X item is a bit off.

I’d like to get rid of it in as few transactions as possible so priority will obviously go to those people considering the bulk or majority buy.

Cheers!

Jonathan

Heh, was informed my pricing for kegs was too low and the current going rate is around $50 :D

I'll keep them as is for people offering to pick up most or all but should probably ask for a little more if the kegs are the only interest. :happybeer:

i'll take both ball locks off your hands. i won't lie, i'm all over the net and can't find anything for less than 2/$100 including shipping.

how bout both ball locks and the kettle for $100? i've got 5 20's fresh from the bank. they still smell like the pretty teller's perfume....

i might be able to swing all 5 5gal kegs for the 150....

keep in mind that some of these other guys may be able to just come buy it all, but i'm not hoarding. these would be my FIRST kegs. kinda special.

Where did the Edit button go btw? Would like to update my first post but can't seem to find the edit feature.

EDIT: Hmmm for some reason there is an Edit button on this entry but not on my original. Now I'm confused. Help?

EDIT2: Anyways, here's an updated list with a little more clarification and some adjuster prices (some up some down). I'm still waiting for bulk buy offers before splitting things up. I will also post up on craigslist later but am holding off a little longer in order to give brewcommune folks a first chance.

Thanks to those of you who sent me PM's for individual items, I will respond to those after I've determined to split items up or not.

I think I'm "bulk buy"ed out the market at this point. I only got ~$100 to spend right now. Ill still take the ball locks off your hands. I'd ne happy w the pin locks if they have release valves on the lids. .

You're at the top of the list if I do split things out. All of my kegs have release valves on them. Also FYI if you ever have one that doesn't, you can always depress the gas in nub with a finger or screwdriver to release pressure. Works the same while maybe being a little less convenient.

Well hell if its that easy I saw those online cheap. I just assumed they weren't easily used. I'd still rather get em from you. If you're gonna spend money may as well give it to one of your own. Plus I can pick it up instead of hassle with shipping. Let me know...

One has a limited time to edit a message. After sometime the ability to edit goes away making the message permanent. We did this after one frequent poster replaced years of his messages with a single period. It kinda of messes with the threads.

Ahh... I do recall the incident but didn't realize the change. Makes sense. Thanks!

I'm not dead yet.
Sorry got crazy busy for a bit. Will be on business trip most of next week too so haven't had a chance to update much. I haven't had much as far as offers from bulk buyers so I am posting on Craigslist to see how it goes. If no bites there I'll get back to those who sent me PMs for just a few of the items.

Cheers!

FYI - I've listed my stash on Craigslist (https://post.craigslist.org/manage/2811221622/cy6vw) and so far the responses have been great. I'm no longer holding out for bulk buyers so if you see something you want even just a single item or two shoot me a PM or respond to my CL post and we can work out a time for you to come by.

Cheers!
