It's an 8.8 cf model, and I've already verified that I can get 6 corny kegs in there with room for my CO2 tank as well. Just wondering if you could tell me the make and model? I like the SQ14 enough that I've now got 3 of them. They're powerful enough to vigorously boil for 15 gallon batches (so 17+ gal of liquid). +1 with jward IMHO, when batch sparging you should do the water addition, stir, and then vourlof. I don't think you need to wait any longer then the time it takes to vourlof. Definitely want to stir to help wash the grain. Also, what temp was your sparge water? I always like to heat my sparge water ...
