20-25 gallon fermenter
Is there a cheap 20-25 gallon fermenter that anyone knows of? I searched for a plastic drum, but no dice. It would have to be under 31 inches tall.

Re: Can I run some grain through your mill tomorrow or wed?
Thanks to both of you, but morebeer took care of it for me! I bought a 50lb sack of 2 row from them and they removed and milled 10lbs for me, them sealed up the remaining 40lbs! I didn't think they would do that, but they did. Helped me out a lot. Thanks again for the offer though! FYI after the 10%...

Can I run some grain through your mill tomorrow or wed?
Hey guys, I was not planning on brewing again until I was able to get a mill set up. But a friend of mine is going on deployment with the Navy in 5 weeks and really wants a keg of homebrew at his going away party. Now, I will be out of town starting Thursday morning for about a week, so I need to br...

3/8 flare to Black Iron Pipe adapter???
Ok, so I am slowly building my new brew rig (sure will beat the turkey fryer LOL). But I got my burners in today and I need to find an adapter that I can not seem to find. The burners have a male 3/8" flare fitting. I would like to plumb it to black iron pipe. So, I have 2 questions: 1. should ...

can I paint my co2 tank any color?
I have a 20lb co2 tank, and a 5lb tank. They are both steel. Can I paint them any color I want? Or are there colors that they must be?

FYI It was $22.
Well, we will see what I can do with it when its empty. That might be a week or two, when I can get a couple of buddies over to help choke this piss down. LOL

Coors light home tapper
Hey, I just bought this at the Albertsons on yorba linda and placentia. It states that it is a one time use system, but I am hoping that it can be resused. Has anyone else seen these? Miller light also had one there. I grabed the last coors light one that was out, and there was only one miller light...

Re: High pressure or low pressure burners?
[quote="bwarbianyI use a 15.5 gal non-insulated keg for my mash tun. I really don't lose any appreciable heat throughout the process. YMMV, of course, but we're not in North Dakota where we have to deal with sub-zero temperatures... Kegs are typically thick-walled as it is, and usually after ma...

Re: High pressure or low pressure burners?
[quote="maltbarley"]Your 10 gallon mashtun will be your limiting factor for batch size. If you are doing 2 keggles, you might as well get a third and insulate it if you are worried about heat loss during the mash.[quote] Yes, the loss of heat was one of my concerns. The second concern was ...

High pressure or low pressure burners?
Well, I am going to be upgrading to keggles! I am stoked that I can finally brew a 10 gallon batch, so that It might laste me and my buddies more than a weekend. So, I have decided to go with a 3 tier rig, with two keggles and a 10 gallon water cooler for the Mash Tun. Right now I have a turkey frye...
