so far I've only been for lunch but man does that beer menu look awesome.

I had the wild boar sausage (pass) and the fries with smokey BBQ (awesome)

Already had How to Brew (even got it signed when John came to Eric's shop)

Really with both of Sam's books it came down to wanting to know more after Beer Wars!

Reading this thread was very interesting, especially given I knew the outcome already.

I will say one thing, without Eric's advice and encouragement I doubt I would have moved to 5 Gallons and I know I wouldn't have joined either of my brew clubs

I'm in the same boat when it came to using distilled water.
I gave it a try on my next batch so I'll have to see if there is a noticeable difference.
