Re: Intertap faucets
I've followed these since they came out. It seems that there are a few sellers and possibly manufacturers of them now in China and the quality seems to be hit and miss. Some have reported very good quality while others say it is crap. Possibly if you get them from a reputable source like Williams Br...

Re: All Grain in Fountain Valley
Welcome Emile. I can't think of anyone off-hand in FV, but many in HB and surrounding areas. Unfortunately, for water that doesn't help you since each city has different sources/systems in place. In HB, I just filter and have very good results for the styles I normally do. BTW, our next meeting is t...
Re: pH meter
I'd go for it as soon as you can. SoCal water is not very good. I don't think you can make that as a blanket statement about all SoCal water. My water in HB is pretty darn good. Ours is pulled from underground wells and even water that gets imported is pushed into the aquifer and then pulled back o...

Re: Juicey IPA? Hazy IPA? NE-IPA? OPA?
I like most things IPA and the NE versions are mostly good. Yes, most of them are hazy, but I don't think many of them are juicy. I wasn't really sure what juicy meant until I finally had one that was definitely juicy. RIIP has done a couple that I thought were juicy. The juiciness was a wetness tha...

Re: OC Brewer's Guild Fest 2017
I'm going to call this a dead issue. Jacque at the guild did get back to me and stated that if we wanted to participate, it would be $150 for the tent and 2 tickets and we would have to buy any additional tix.
Can't see how this is beneficial to us as a club.

Brewing Monday 3/27 - open invite
Josh and I are knocking out two 1/2 bbl beers tomorrow for SCHF. Doing a NE style hazy IPA and an 8B/Bitter (a'la Boddingtons). Starting at 9:00 AM and wrapping up around 4:00 PM. Come on by if you're interested in just hanging out, chatting or want to see what our brewing processes are like. If you...

Unfortunately, I won't be there tomorrow. Curtis will facilitate the meeting. Worst president ever. :happybeer: LOL... whatever. It's for the greater good. I have to attend HB CERT training (Community Emergency Response Teams). In my defense, I don't think I missed a meeting in my first 2 years as ...
