The first one looks more like the crate in Raiders.
Also here is something I thought was stupid when I was building my kegerator, but now I wish I had done. Attach the collar to the lid of the freezer. That way the lines and faucets/shanks swing up out of the way.

Re: July 5th John Palmer
I started sanding and painting my brew stand yesterday, and didn't finish until about 7. Bummed I wasn't able to make it, but my stand looks sweet and there is no more rust! Better paint fast!! Oh I got it all painted that night. Now I just have to hope this high temp paint I used holds up and does...

I am planning on coming. Not 100% sure I will make it though.
I think Tyler is going to come too.

Re: Kegging, but need bottles for comp.
If you aren't filling that many bottles, I don't think you would need the CO2. Vent some of the pressure (not as much as you would if it was hooked up), and there should be plenty of pressure to push enough beer to fill a few bottles I would think.

Re: Kegging, but need bottles for comp.
I just attempted to bottle from the keg today using tubing and stopper method. WOW! I made a nice mess of beer on the garage floor, not to mention the wild differences in fill levels. :? I would be interested in a demo at this months meeting if anyone has experience with this method and is willing ...

Re: Grand Opening! May 22nd - Saturday
Wish I could come but I have to work. That's the same day as The Bruery's anniversary party (the first day of it at least).

Re: Kegging, but need bottles for comp.
I think it's a #2 drilled stopper, and looking at the link chris posted to homebrewtalk.com (which is where I got the idea I think) pretty much confirms that.

Re: how to clean and store a jockey box?
At The Bruery we clean it with caustic for a couple minutes, then purge that with CO2 and rinse with acid sanitizer for another couple minutes. Then we put CO2 or compressed air through until most of its out and leave the cooler open for a while to dry. The little bit of sanitizer left in the coils ...

Re: Kegging, but need bottles for comp.
I always used something very similar to what brahn posted. But I would get a bottling wand and take the end off so its just the rigid plastic and stick that into a cobra tap (fits perfectly). Then its the same as that website. Get the bottle cold, drop the pressure on the tank, plug the bottle with ...

I'm likely getting my stand made the exact same way, so I am interested in some feedback as well. I will be using 3 keggles.

Re: Anyone Interested in a Brutus Stand?
Hey Derrin, I think I'd be interested in a set of those casters as well. I'm getting one of these bad boys built for myself too. The 3rd brutus is going to a co-worker, so I'll see if he is interested in your last set.

Re: Carbonation Tabs: Friends or Foes?
They work fine. They are all sterile in the package, so make sure you don't touch them and drop them in. Just make a small hole and drop them in one at a time straight from the bag. Usually one bag will do a 5 gallon batch. Reducing the number of steps and transfers is a good way to reduce risk of i...
