I'm not sure how I feel about how this brew turned out, and I would appreciate some advice. When I brewed, I forgot that I wouldnt have LME to help give me more volume, so I collected too little from my mash. This made my post boil even smaller (4.5gal?), and forgetting to use a hop bag or the false...

You have plenty of time to make a new starter, and with about 2mo on the old one, I would say make a fresh one. Any bacteria in that wort would have grown slowly, yes, but it still would have grown. Be safe and do a new one.

Anybody have a reccommendation for where to get CO2 tanks filled? Not particularly fond of the idea of driving down to O'Sheas, but I don't know anywhere else. AirGas says I have to get in before 2 which will not happen, and they want me to exchange, not a deal breaker, but with my tank only 5mo old...
