Can anyone comment on the output difference between the 2 roller and 3 roller designs? If I remember correctly the 3 roller is suppose to be gentler on the husks. I have one of the Shureco pumps. I have not put it into service. I think it would make a great pump for sparge water and moving chilled wort. OK. Sounds like just toss it in without rehydration. My last batch I tried to experiment with rehydration. I calculated the water wrong and didn't use enough. So I haven't formed an opinion yet. Would you think adding and stirring in the dark grains with, say, 15-20 minutes left in the mash might accomplish something similar?
