Brad, if your beer doesn't win, you should start your own club.

Re: GLYCOL FOR CHILLER

Walmart has premixed glycol for boats/RVs. I think it's $2.50/gallon. That's what I'm using and it's tested ok, but I haven't fermented a lager that way, yet. Sam said it froze for him, but I think Sam's delusional, anyway.

That's what I'm saying. If it's one that's never been done, I'll take an XL and ladies M.

Brad, I'm pretty sure Brahn uses his tilt in a Sanke.

Re: Sabco Brew Magic - 10 gallon All Grain

Correction: It's a 5th generation Brew Magic from 2006. I bought it at the end of 2007 and it had never been used. Here's a few more pics.

BTW Reid, you saw it when you were here a little over a week ago.

Re: Sabco Brew Magic - 10 gallon All Grain

10 gallons is too much for me.

The fermentor is not jacketed but I use it in a smaller commercial fridge (that I will likely sell) for full lager capability.

Sabco Brew Magic - 10 gallon All Grain

I've decided to downsize a bit and get rid of my Brew Magic. I bought it new/second hand in 2006 from a guy that had to leave the country. This thing is built like a tank, in the USA and all stainless parts are 316. I hate to see it go, and will likely end up with Chinese 304 stainless. Anyway...
