Re: July Club Meeting 7/19/11 (Tuesday) 7pm @ Nobel Ale Works

Maybe we can convince Brian to let us give it another go. :D Just so you know, it doesn't take much convincing... :) We better get on this before the Bru Grill gets close to opening as we'll never see you after that. August brew day? I am planning on brewing the Sour Old Ale again very soon, or we ...

Re: Filtration

Not much to add, other than I just picked up the same filter Brad linked to and plan on giving it a try soon. I was going to use it for some beers I recently served at a wedding, but ended up not doing it.

Re: Bru Grill

So while there is nothing to review yet, I'm REALLY looking forward to doing a review here: http://www.ocregister.com/news/restaurant-304592-pannek-market.html I hear they are homebrewer friendly  and might have the perfect table for a meeting. Can't wait to read your review Tim. Just so ever...

I picked it up on Friday and so far have had the Cal Common and DIPA. I really enjoyed the Cal Common.

26 Cubic Ft Chest Freezer in Tustin (not mine)

Not mine, but it is a friend who is in town helping to clear out his grandmother's house. They need it gone ASAP. Thought someone here might be interested.

Re: how much did your first batch cost?

So I think ill stick with retailers for now. Besides, I get to meet people and ask questions that way. Google maps only shows a few spots in my area. I've been to Addison to Meet eric, but stein fillers is NEVER open, and I don't think zymurguy really exists. There is no building at that address. Z...

That's the goal... Work has been very, very crazy lately. I keep thinking one of these days it is going to let up.

As far as the homebrew shop goes, I closed a few years ago. I am sorry you drove up and down Valley View in your search.

Cleaning House

I'm trying to clean out the garage a bit and thought I'd put them here first in case anyone local was interested in them. This is about all that is left over from my old 10-gallon system and I don't see really using them enough to justify keeping them around. 15-lb Barley Crusher (w/new rollers) - $...

Re: Experiment - Tustin Terroir (Terror?)

I have not personally but had a few customers who did. The general consensus between anyone that I spoke with about it was that the butyric properties of the final product was a bit much and the LA/OC basin would never be known for their spontaneous fermentations.
