GREAT meeting last night! Lots of new faces, great style presentation, and lots of different homebrews. Derrin, thanx again for hosting. It's always fun to see what you are working on. Please post that Pilsner recipe you talked about, it sounds intriguing!

OK, so some of us have bought the fancy Sanke fermenter kit. We worry about not dipping the racking cane too far into the beer for fear of sucking up trub. If we are forcing beer out under pressure, why not just plunge the cane to the bottom, and blow out the trub first, then capture the clear beer?...

OK, the wife and I went. I guess I was spoiled by the Stone Tap Takeover at Hamiltons Tavern in San Diego a while back. Gerg Koch was there, they catered the event, and had all sorts of interesting cask and one off draft selections. It was quite an event. The event at Smoq'd (the old Beach Pit BBQ) ...
