These are renowned for bad joints leaking down refrigerant. I just repaired a 180 bottle version of the same thing. I used to get gas from California Tool and Welding. They would fill you bottles so no swap. They used to have a location in Riverside, not sure if they're still there.

While I have not used honey malt, I hear reports that 'a little goes a long way'. Maybe jward can give you a hint on a good ratio.. I used it like crystal malt.
