My brother in law and I brewed a Belgian strong ale August 5th and the first week we saw plenty of life. However, I’m concerned that the heat may have killed it. Anybody have any suggestions on what to do to fix this issue?

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to get it for $70 with shipping.
I recently got this one and have been really happy with it. I haven't hooked it up to a heating element yet, I'm currently just using it for cooling. The price has gone up a bit since I bought it, but it gets down to around $60 ...

I have a Sony outdoor small fridge that would like to use to house my carboys. Is it possible to do this if I get the control temp equipment or do I need to buy a freezer?

I’ve read posts on people growing their own hops but couldn’t find out where they got their starter seeds from. Can anyone help with this? I have the room in my backyard to grow and the wife’s permission. Ha, ha!

I agree about the prices which I justify it as paying for convenience. Plus I like the new location with Sud's bar and the Beef Palace across the street. From what I understand the current owner Jim sold the business. Hopefully the new owner will adjust the prices.

They give them away as a promotion at most events. The only one I didn't find any was at the Great American beer fest.

In Huntington Beach Mr. Kegs offers CO2 service. It's a great mom and pop store I used to work for in 2007 before all my major knee issues. Ha, ha!
