Minimum bottle fermentation time?

Post by Nickrp83 »

Ok nor ally in forums I use the search function but for some reason you can't on an iPhone so I'm asking. I'm sure this is many newbies question, bit we bottled our first batch Friday and plan to let it sit for 2 weeks min, but well I wanna taste the stuff. What would be the min time it would need to sit in the bottle to get a little carbonation and flavor up? I know I know be patient but my wife and I wanna give it a taste.

If you keep it in a warm place you may see some carbonation in 3-5 days. Even if it's not carbonated it won't hurt you to crack one open and see how it tastes. It's interesting to see how it changes over time in the bottle.

+1

At 2-4 weeks, depending on style, it usually comes into its own.

Congrats on your first batch
