Pretty neat. They'd probably make better bright tanks than fermenters, but looks like a lot of tank for $450.

The is strange. Still, you could certainely make good use of it as a 1bbl fermenter or brite tank. Or even a 1bbl brewery for that matter if you fit one with a false bottom.

OK, something is wrong with their math. They say the cylinder is 20" x 38". By my math volume of a cylinder is V = (Pi)(Height)(radius^2) = 11,943 cu. Using an online calculator, that gives a volume of ~ 52 gallons, not 35. Unless the double walls are like 2" apart.

Buy a few of these and add a false bottom and and some fittings and you could pretty well make a 1.5bbl brewery. Probably need a small 'man-door' in the side of the MLT

They never stop.... Sometimes that sucks.

They already have a fitting for a heating element too. I wonder how many watt element would be required to boil in an insulated vessel like that.

FYI, I contacted the seller. For 4 tanks, she would only knock $25 off of each. She said she does not have the internal dimensions but that the walls were only "about a 1/4" thick"

So, FWIW, the volume is greater than 35 unless the dims are wrong.
