Brewers Hardware weldless fittings are the best. I have tried others and they leak regardless of how tight I make the connection. Derrin's fittings simply do not leak...they also look very cool

I have to agree. I drilled my hole just a tad too big, and my other fittings leaked. The Brewer's Hardware fitting is designed better to provide some space between the o-ring and the drilled hole. This provides a better seal and won't result in torn o-rings like other fittings.

as a matter of fact, Brewers Hardware Weldless Fittings is my next tab open to Brewcommune. Bias or not, i have only heard awesome feedback, and one by one you have knocked out the competitors.

Well, after talking with various folks, I decided not to bite off too much all at once. Derrin at Brewers' Hardware has been great and I'm happy to now have an amazing SS sculpture in the garage!

I just picked up my 2 SS chugger pumps, and have ordred a nice plate chiller. Keeping things at direct fire mash & 2 pumps for now, and will consider the brew controller much later down the line. Very much looking forward to getting everything mounted, plumbed & tested... and perhaps a brewday soon!

Most of you already know Derrin and his gift for beergineering. I've been wanting to get a rig built from his stuff for quite a while now!

As I said, he was exteremely helpful in suggesting different pieces, parts & configuration options. In addition, since I have no welding skill (and little mechanical skills) I asked if I could hire him to modify & configure a few things. So things like the kettle FPT ports for the thermometers, hard-line NG tubing for the burners, etc. are all by him. In addition, there are many really nice detail touches throughout.

I'm hoping to work on the remaining tasks, hoses, mountings, etc. this weekend. I still need to order NG hosing/QDs and a few other items before it'll be ready for a hot water test. I do plan on having it ready for a club brewday this summer!
