Better get that brew in quick or it'll wind up collecting dust for the next 6 months!

Yeah... planning on brewing a Scottish 70/- this Thursday. I was originally planning on a 5 gal batch, but may step it up to 10 gallons.

Thanks for posting the pics Lars. I am looking for some casters for my Brutus now. What did you use and how did you mount them?

I had the steel pre cut, so it was a bit more... The steel cut to my specs was just under $100. Personally, for that price I wasn't going to mess around or waste my time cutting it.

I'll take a few more pix tomorrow when I'm brewing. I had two cross pieces welded onto the bottom of the frame, and the casters simply bolt onto them. I bought the casters at Harbor Freight.

AND all hail to RPM for welding! Most of the congrats go to him for his welding skillz.

Why the difference in burners and gas supply lines?

The third burner is one of those huge ass 210k btu Hurricane burners. I'm using it as the hlt burner. Why? I needed to buy a third burner (I already had the other two). The third burner is solid mounted, and I didn't feel that I could fit rigid lines without a lot of trouble.

I have some work to do before I start brewing. So, I'm not sure what time I'll be mashing in. I hope to be done and drinkin by 4pm. But, I don't know if that is going to happen. If you are in the area give me a call and drop by.

So how did the brew day go Lars? Sorry I didn't get a chance to stop by, I'm a little sick right now and am trying to beat it before it gets any worse. I'm already feeling a little better so hopefully I'll be able to drop by this weekend if you're around.

Well... I didn't end up brewing. A bunch of other stuff took over the day. Including selling my Tacoma and taking my new truck in to the shop for some work. I was able to clean up the stand some more, run the solid copper through my stainless braid and "brew" with a batch of PBW. So far everything works great! Robert stopped by and had a pint or two... Robert - the Porter tapped out once you left! Now I NEED to brew soon. I'm down to 1 keg that is only about 1/3 full. So, maybe this weekend.
