Thermapen Sale

Next to the kettle and burner my thermapen might be the most heavily used piece of equipment in my brewery. It's super fast and super accurate and great for checking temperatures of brewing liquor, mash, hydrometer samples, etc. It's never far away when I'm brewing. As an added benefit it's great to use for cooking too!

The only downside is that they're really expensive ($89 each). Right now they're having an open box sale for $69 each. Yes, that's still crazy expensive for a thermometer, but everyone I know who has one of these absolutely loves it.

Thanks for the tip. I scored one. You can't tell it's not brand new. I have desired one since seeing Alton Brown pimp them on his show. The only rub to the device is that it's right handed.
