Diffusion stone

Post by DrDually »

Has anyone had troubles with diffusion stones not working? After using mine once or twice, they stop flowing air. I have tried boiling several times and allowed to cool submersed with no success....help!

Chris,

Have you tried soaking in PBW or Stan San?

I usually boil mine, then soak 'em in iodophor before use. I always blow 'em out when I'm done using them. If it is "stuck" try boiling it for 5 minutes, and then hooking it up to some pressure ... 30-50 psi (have a compressor?) and see if that breaks it loose.

Good luck!
