brewing question

Post by tikitatt »

I have a Sony outdoor small fridge that would like to use to house my carboys. Is it possible to do this if I get the control temp equipment or do I need to buy a freezer?

Rancos are typically what folks use but there are others ... the Love controller is also nice.

I recently got this one and have been really happy with it. I haven't hooked it up to a heating element yet, I'm currently just using it for cooling. The price has gone up a bit since I bought it, but it gets down to around $60.

I, like a lot of people on HBT, wired it with the hot wire going through the relay instead of the neutral wire. The wiring diagram suggests you do the opposite.

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to get it for $70 with shipping.
