It's fucking awesome -- Greg Koch

Are members interested in stepping up to host a club pouring session or table at club night?

Absolutely!! You guys better get brewing. Between SCHF and NHC, we will need a shitload of beer next spring.

Yeah, I'm down for it (if I can figure out what in my brewing process is keeping from scoring about 30 in comps).

2 years ago we had good interest in AHA at Oakland, but the poor economy really killed that off.

San Diego is an easy drive for most of us, so I think we should really try to get involved in this one.

We should also concentrate on entering as many beers as possible into the National Homebrew Competition so we can represent at the awards banquet. This requires some planning on everyone's part. Start brewing your big beers now so they will have time to age. Count backwards from April (first round) so you can have your more delicate beers ready in time for competition.

Club Night at the conference is legendary. With the number and quality of clubs we have in SoCal, it should be an epic night. Everyone needs to brew their best beer for that night. We will be serving our beers to AHA members from all over the country.

I, too, am very psyched about this. This is going to be "fucking awesome".
